A few words of wisdom

A visit to representative Engel's office so that we can be escorted through the secret underground tunnels

A few moments later we are in the capital building.

inside the capital building we are escorted onto the House floor. This has not happened in a long time and we are fortunate to be allowed to visit. As we enter we learn that the commander of the British army is visiting. We pass him and a few large body guards as we enter the floor. No pictures allowed here.

Next up...inside the dome of the building. Things looking up

From there Monty's cousin escorts us into the office of the majority whip. A wonderful office

Oh yes, he Kevin McCarthy is in. We all make our way into his office and he is kind enough to talk with us and snap a quick picture.

Next stop lunch at the world famous union station

Papa bear down for the count
